Credit card instalment purchases

Effective annual rate and weighting factor by term: total interest as a percentage of the amount paid in instalments. For example, with the 8.65% factor at 12 months that Internacional publishes, paying $1,000 in instalments adds $86.50 of interest. Banks work out the factor in slightly different ways, so it can vary with the same rate.
